The Language Arts Journal of Michigan, the bi-annual journal of the Michigan Council of Teachers of English, won one of the two honorable mentions for the 2008 Affiliate Journal Award (from NCTEintert link http://www.ncte.org/) for their Fall 2007 issue on "Digital Technology.” (Ohio won and British Columbia was the other honorable mention). Congratulations to the EMWP writers who contributed! Doug Baker was the editor, and Val Johnson contributed an article, "How a $49 Webcam Turned a Class Around and Saved my Sanity."
